Who should see a
doctor who specializes in Internal Medicine?
We take care of patients ages 18 and older. We have
experience treating a variety of different, complex medical conditions,
syndromes and disorders. Dr. Kedainis has access to ALL medical and
surgical sub-specialists. If your case requires the expertise of a
sub-specialist, Dr. Kedainis will promptly refer you to the appropriate
specialist.
Is Dr. Kedainis
currently accepting new patients?
Yes
I am a new
patient. What should I bring for my first visit?
Print the new patient form from
our Web site. When you answer the questions on this form, you will
gather all the information necessary.
If I am a new
patient, do you need my old medical records?
It is helpful if you can obtain your old medical
records before your office visit. This will provide Dr. Kedainis with
more detailed history and medical information and prevent the
duplication of ordering tests that were recently completed.
What kind of
information should I bring with me to my first visit?
Please bring your insurance cards, driver’s license and any
pertinent medical records or information. We encourage you to review
the medical questionnaire and forms that are available on our Web
site’s Patient Forms page. That way
you can create the list of the medical problems before you get to our
office. This gives you more time to think and not forget the important
questions you want to ask your physician.
If I am in the
hospital, will a house doctor be assigned to my case?
Not
unless you would be hospitalized at the hospital where Dr. Kedainis
does not
hold admitting privileges. Usually, Dr. Kedainis will personally follow
your
case from the moment you’re admitted until you are discharged.
When
consultation with a medical specialist is needed, Dr. Kedainis will
bring one
in to ensure you get the best care possible.
My insurance
provider requires a co-pay. What forms of payment do you accept and
when should I pay my co-pay amount?
We accept cash, check, Mastercard, Visa and American Express. Your
co-pay amount is due at the time of your visit.
Who submits the
forms to the insurance company?
Our office staff will handle the paperwork required by the insurance company.
When should I
arrive for my appointment?
You should arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
